Horror Swimsuit Babes
The Horror Swimsuit Babe collection began as a reimagination of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue.
As a kid, it was the kind of magazine I could sneak a peek at in the grocery store, filled with beautiful, fit women—but whenever I flipped through it, it felt almost soulless. In my art, I love to pair unlikely themes, like colorful swimsuits and horror elements. For this collection, I created 12 horror icons (or horror-inspired figures), showcasing a variety of body types, identities, and forms of expression. The mix of horror, smut, and summer vibes gave life to the unique Horror Swimsuit Babe collection.
Video Game Slumber Babes
This collection is inspired by the allure of softness. We’re often told to toughen up, stop being so sensitive, and stay strong. But sometimes, we just want to be cozy babes.
With nostalgia for classic games, I created a jewel-case zine that evokes the feeling of playing PlayStation and curling up on the couch for a cozy day. I reimagined iconic video game characters in a cute, soft style, bringing them together for a sleepover party. So far, I’ve created zines featuring RPG and fighting games, with horror survival and Nintendo-themed editions coming soon.
Reversing roles from classic publications
I took classic magazine publications that were tailored toward a masculine audience and completely turned them on their head. Growing up, I saw glossy magazines filled with heavily edited images of beautiful women, paired with headlines about losing weight or how to please a man.
This became normal and shaped how I saw myself and others. Rarely did I see someone who looked like me—blemished skin, body rolls, queer, or multi-racial. As I got older and became more comfortable in my own body, I wanted nothing more than to share that feeling. So, I took the magazines that once hurt me and transformed them into publications that, hopefully, inspire you, help you feel seen, and reveal the beauty in others.
