House of a
Thousand Draculas
Local drag performer and producer, The Vamp Natalia, commissioned a poster for the sixth chapter of her vampire-themed alternative drag shows.
For this project, I incorporated three of her favorite vampire icons: Bela Lugosi’s Dracula, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and Nosferatu. I infused each character with feminine elements, softening jawlines, adding makeup, and enhancing allure with painted nails, groomed hair, and wing-tip eyeliner.
These designs were featured on the show's poster, which was promoted around town and on social media. Sticker packs, created from these designs, were sold at the event to support the artist’s show expenses and transitioning journey.
Sketching Process
For this production, I began with a rough sketch offering multiple options for the final illustration. Using photo references of the vampires provided, I skillfully blended the likeness of both the host and iconic movie stills.
As an illustrator, my goal is to provide clients with numerous options, empowering them to create custom merchandise that truly fits their personality.
